Pathfinder Technical School

Applications for the 2017 Summer Pathfinder Technical School are now open.

The emergency services school will be held at Fort Leonard Wood on 17-23 June. The curriculum contains important education for the ever changing role that Civil Air Patrol has in the emergency services field.  In addition to an in depth study of emergency services, students will be presented with hands on activities and challenges that promote education and teamwork.

Those who attend a course will be expected to set an example throughout CAP of excellence and professionalism.  Further they are expected to bring the training that they have received back to their home unit to increase the capabilities of emergency services there.  Pathfinder Technical School is not just designed for students to attend and get a certificate.  It is designed to create leaders in Civil Air Patrol emergency services.  The school is perfect for any cadet or senior member that wishes to advance their training in emergency services.

The curriculum for the school is physically demanding.  All those attending should be in PhysicalFitness Category I.  A physical agility test will be conducted during the school.  In addition students should be prepared for daily physical fitness training and strenuous activities.
